No. Sorry. IOS 6.1.3 is out. Jailbreakers stay away! There's no coming back to
6.1.2 Jailbreak even if you saved blobs (except iPhone 4 and iPod Touch
4G). So it took Apple "only" 6 weeks to close the threat of evasi0n.

hi tom do you have the shsh blob 6.1.2 saved that you could send me i didnt get chance to save mine before phone crashed now its updated to 6.1.3 and ive lost my jailbreak much appriciated if you have thanks dom.
DeleteYou can't use somebody else's SHSH blobs to downgrade your iPhone.
DeleteThough if you had cydia installed, your SHSH blobs would be backed up to their servers.

I hope someone will find a solution, there are many tweaks I need.

Deleteif you're able to remember which were the last apps you intalled... you can download iFunBox and use its research tool to delete those apps that are making your iPhone4 stuck in the apple logo... you will realize that it will switch magically on and you'll be able to use it as before.
DeleteCan't you restore with custom firmware? The Shift click method? There is a website that has the .ipsw files called flexibruns. It will work if your trying to restore without updating to the new iOS.

ReplyDeleteHave it - but it won't do you any good. Been trying for hours :-( phone went into a boot loop and I did everything to kick it out but nothing worked. Plugged it into itunes to try and restore it (only option left when tiny umbrella or redsnow won't work) and it updated from 5.1.1 straight ti 6.1.3. Had the blobs so I thought "ok, I'll just stitch the ios install and bingo! Good to go!" But it was not good to go. You can't stitch the blobs to make a custom file and you can't just use the restore option. So all out of luck just because my iPhone decided to hang on the loading screen over and over again.

Wish I would of looked at things more clearly instead of just leaping into a software update. This is where Android benefits over Apple, just a flash or two and you're back to the previous software you were running prior.

ReplyDeleteIf you are on 6.1.2 right now DO NOT UPGRADE TO 6.1.3. Check do not ask me again and press cancel. Just go to BACK UP NOW (not a restore). Once that's done close iTunes. Then go get evasi0n and jailbreak your 6.1.2 iPhone 4s.

DeleteC'mon, I know you know how to read. You're either stuck at 6.1.2 with a jailbreak, or you upgrade with iTunes to 6.1.3 and then get stuck at 6.1.3 with NO JAILBREAK and NO DOWNGRADE.
i'm so sick of apple's attitude in this whole thing, i don't know what their big hang up is with people customizing the phone the way THEY want it. i'm currently on a jailbroken 4s and have no intentions of every upgrading to another iphone. if i wouldn't lose my unlimited data plan i would switch to an s3 or something similar next time contract expires. i just recently upgraded the wifes phone to an s3 and imho it's waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyy better than the iphone 5. apple, go suck a lemon.
ReplyDeleteI wanna know how come noone has tried to crack apple's signing process, that way we never need to update when trying to restore our ipods/pads/phones. It may seem impossible but you could just crack itunes itself and find the code it uses with the apple server to communicate with it and the codes it uses to validate the ios. if your able to get ahold of this then you could inject the currently signed code into any ipsw and have it validated by the apple server.
ReplyDeleteit's probably a very complex algorithm that is generated at the time of update/restore and is based off of the hardware id of idevice & computer & itunes & mac address & phase of the moon for that day.
