How to install MacOS Sierra on Mac + Guide + Video. Today is a big day. Apple announced MacOS Sierra Download links for allwho want install lates MacOS Sierra version on their Macs. It's very nice, because lots of Mac owners want try new features and specs on new OS X.

If you are one of mac owners, you can see this complete guide about How To Install MacOS Sierra on Mac.

1. Download MacOS Sierra  via torrent or dirrent links, open the .dmg
2. Right-click the .app - "Show Package Contents"
3. Open (mount) InstallESD.dmg, located along the path of "Install ...app / Contents / SharedSupport /"
4. From the contents of the OS X Install ESD open (mount) BaseSystem.dmg (default BaseSystem.dmg Basesystem.chunklist and hidden. Use the utility "ShowAllFiles").
5. Run Disk Utility and expand BaseSystem.dmg on the flash drive formatted GUID (the "Options") and Mac OS coffee (HFS +)

If you do not - get an error Undefined error: 0 at the very beginning of the installation!
7. Backup

We know that every year Apple announced their products on June, but official release date - September. Why? I think that general reason of such situation - Apple want to release their OS X without bags and errors. Ok. Now you can try new MacOS Sierra features on your Mac.

There's actually an easier way, since Apple added the createinstallmedia application to the Installer.app in Mavericks.

Run Disk Utility and expand BaseSystem.dmg on the flash drive formatted GUID (the "Options") and Mac OS coffee (HFS +)

Does this mean copying files from BaseSystem to the flash drive that is formatted in GUID and HFS+ ?

Hi there, so I restore the base system disk image onto my USB in disk utility, copy the packages folder from the installesd disk image to the system folder in the USB, copy the basesystem chucklist to the top level of the USB and I just have to boot into the USB to install macOS Sierra, correct? Because it seems like I'm missing something in between...

I see a BaseSystemResources.dmg file, but not just BaseSystem.dmg. Will there be a video tutorial? Because this guide is a bit confusing.

Unknown said...

I don’t understand How to do step 5 =/

fanis said...

isn't there any less complicated way? no way to follow all these steps that easy!

Vijay Tripathi said...

I get the circle with a slash while trying to boot. I copied the packages folder from InstallESD to the install drive in /System/Installation. I also copied the BaseSystem.dmg file and BaseSystem.chunklist file to the root of the install drive. Install drive is formatted Mac OS Extended with GUID partition style.

Unknown said...

Is it possible to obtain the installation tutorial more easy? Specifically step 5. Thank you.

H4ck Gaming said...

Step 5-6 really don't understand, can try a video please ?

Restore the OS X Base System volume to your blank USB in Disk Utility. Then you can give that partition more space on the USB after it has restored.
