iOS 13.5 Supported Devices + New Specifications

, ,

Apple has released beta versions of iOS 13.5 and iPadOS 13.5 for developers. The main feature of this iOS 13.5 beta release is the addition of a tracking API. The feature was created by Apple in conjunction with Google, and gives developers of public health institutions a tool that can be used to create applications.

This kind of application will track contacts between people to avoid further spread of the coronavirus. Google has also released a new beta version of Google Play services, which also contains an API.

Although Apple calls this release iOS 13.5 beta 3, it is worth noting that the previous beta release was called iOS 13.4.5 beta 2.However, any iOS release with a new SDK (a set of development tools that allows software professionals to create apps) must have a new version number. This is why there will be no “beta 1” or “beta 2” for iOS 13.5.

The new version of iOS 13.5 beta 3 is now available along with the corresponding iPadOS 13.5 beta 3 software update. Users can also expect to see new iOS beta versions coming soon.
