Oh my god. Today morning, another employee of Foxconn leapt to his/her death. This happened at one of Foxconn’s manufacturing facilities in the southern Chinese manufacturing hub of Shenzhen. The death was confirmed by the municipal government. No further information was immediately available. We are sad, and one thing comes to our mind, where are the safety nets? Updated.

The worker is a 22-year-old male employee from Hunan province. He works on the production line and recently, he was dissatisfied on not receiving a salary increase and getting transferred to different departments to work. So, he jumped from the dormitory and he was found dead at 1:20am. Several local reports about this latest suicide have been banned or removed from the web, including the threads on forums.
