IOS 6.1 JAILBREAK. You Need To Get Updated Immediately!
iOS5 users, if you ever want to jailbreak iOS6, you need to get updated immediately!
Apple is seeding 6.1.1 to developers as a beta. This means 6.1.1 update is coming pretty quick (next few days?) Good chance this has the jailbreak already patched out and also once it’s released you will no longer be able to restore to 6.1. So while you still can, I suggest you get yourselves onto 6.1 today so that if you choose to jailbreak you have the option to do so. If you’re still on 5.x and think you ever want to be jailbroken on 6.x, you should get the update to 6.1 done today.

Quick question. Does this mean you need to create a whole new jailbreak? or do you have to add new files? If so how long will it take cuz I've waited for ever for Evasi0n
ReplyDeleteDownloaded the new evasi0n 1.1 6.1 jailbreak but the weather app still doesn't show up.Had the evasi0n 1.0 and used Cydia and on the changes section it said evasi0n 6.0-6.1 update something like that then i updated it and the weather app still didnt show up!

Theses Cydia-updates doesnt work. I did also try to "upgrade" when it appeared in Cydia from Evasi0n - but it didn't work. The Weather App was still crashing..
DeleteWhat did work, was this simple guide someone posted on Facebook:
1. Uninstall AppSync
2. Open iFile and manage to /var/mobile/library/caches
3. Delete the file "com.apple.mobile.installation.plist"
4. Reboot
5. Check Weather App now work.
6. Install freely the AppSync again, and the Weather App still work :)
Worked for me (iPhone 4S iOS 6.1)
jailbroke on 6.1, but i downloaded appcake and sometimes install doesnt work and when they do like whatsapp installed i tried to open and it closes straight away? any ideas and i tried vshare it doesnt install either.

ReplyDeleteI need to backup as much as possible from my jailbroken iP which isn't synced to iTunes nor iCloud due to a crash a while ago. I don't have a backup..
How can I make sure I save as much data and apps and tweaks before I restore it?
iExplorer for contacts etc, followed by PkgBackup for cydia apps en tweeks?
Dont use Pkg Backup, its doesnt work on iPhone 4S iOS 6.1.. I've tried all the versions. The only difference is, that the latest version doesnt crash as all the others do. I have wasted 9,99$
