iOS-14-Beta-Release-DateOn Tuesday, may 5, Apple announced the date of its annual developer conference. So, the current 31st Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) will begin on Monday, June 22 and will be held in an online format for the first time in connection with the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

The WWDC 2020 conference will be available through the Apple developer app, as well as the developer website. Simultaneously with the announcement of the date, Apple announced the Swift Student Challenge, which will allow developers-students around the world to demonstrate their love of coding.

Usually, on the first day of the WWDC conference, Apple introduces new software and announces new devices. It is expected that this year, on June 22, Apple will present the first beta versions of iOS 14 and iPadOS 14, macOS 10.16, tvOS 14, watchOS 7 and new software for HomePod. Official versions (for all) of firmware will traditionally appear only in the fall of 2020.

The main online event, which will feature new software and hardware products, will take place on Monday, June 22.
