MacBook Air 2018. What’s new?

Display: The MacBook Air still has a 13.3in screen, but this time there are four times more pixels – that’s 4 million pixels (a 2K display). That’s a 2560×1600 native resolution at 227 pixels per inch.

Processor: 1.6GHz dual-core Intel Core i5, Turbo Boost up to 3.6GHz, with 4MB L3 cache

Comfort:
If you were hoping for a large crop of ports you’ll be disappointed, but there’s two Thunderbolt 3 ports, which means you can use USB Type-C products with it too, and even power an external 5K display from your MacBook Air, or use it with an eGPU. The 2018 MBA has also been made much more compact – it is 17% smaller than the Air we are used to. But the diagonal of the screen – 13.3 inches – has remained the same! The new model will also be thinner than the old by 10 percent (15.6 mm) and easier to 100 g (1.25 kg).
