Updated. iOS 10 Jailbreak has big future.
Old. Some resources leaked information that Apple will be released iOS 9.4, but not iOS 10. So. If it will be true, we can understand that new iOS 9.4 supported devices will be same than iOS 10 Supported devices, it's mean that if you have new devices you always can update your iOS via iTunes or QTA. If you have jailbroken device, you must understand that jailbreak iOS 10 have very nice future, but not for all devcies and iOS.
I hope that the iPad 2 and the iPad mini 1st generation supports iOS 10. I have a first generation iPad mini that I use everyday since 2 years ago.
ReplyDeleteSame im using mine to type now

Don't forget to mention, iOS 10 should be the last OS for these devices. iPhone 4S may not receive iOS 10 due to the fact that there are less people using the device.
ReplyDeleteI don't understand.
ReplyDeleteiPhone 5C is supported. iPhone 5 is dropped, yet iPad 2 is supported? iPad 2 is weaker than both,
If the iPhone 5C is supported, the iPhone 5 should be too seeing how it's the same phone. (Plus more people own the 5 than the 5C)
Ipad 2 is stronger than iphone 4s since the 4s has A5 chip clocked at 800mhz n ipad 2 also has A5 chip but it is clocked at 1Ghz........therefore 4s is dropped....
DeleteI know. Under 10% of people are using the iPhone 5 these days and many people still use the iPad 2; the iPad Air 1 is the most used iPad. This compatibility list is weird because this is missing the iPad mini 1 and the iPhone 5. If you want to speed your old iDevice like the iPad 2 up, get iRefresh Pro. Don't forget that the iPhone 5 will be 4 years old at that point.
ReplyDeleteJust so you know, Apple haven't released this information officially and this has been made by someone who is trying to scam everyone. To be precise the iPhone 5 will definately be compatible with iOS 10. But the iPhone 4S and iPad 2 may not get the update but personally I think iPad 2 will get iOS 10 because many people still use iPad 2.
ReplyDeleteWhat about the ipad mini 1st gen??
DeleteNo iPad 2 and iPad Mini 1 gen
ReplyDeletethis was not in the list of the keynotes
Dangnabbit. Still supports iPhone 5. Work has been long-conning us not updating our work phones. I was hoping iOS10 would finally go 64 bit-only and dump the iPhone 5 forcing the company to finally give us new phones. No luck this time either :(
