How to install MacOS Sierra on Mac + Guide + Video. Today is a big day. Apple announced MacOS Sierra Download links for allwho want install lates MacOS Sierra version on their Macs. It's very nice, because lots of Mac owners want try new features and specs on new OS X.

1. Download MacOS Sierra  via torrent or dirrent links, open the .dmg
2. Right-click the .app - "Show Package Contents"
3. Open (mount) InstallESD.dmg, located along the path of "Install ...app / Contents / SharedSupport /"
4. From the contents of the OS X Install ESD open (mount) BaseSystem.dmg (default BaseSystem.dmg Basesystem.chunklist and hidden. Use the utility "ShowAllFiles").
5. Run Disk Utility and expand BaseSystem.dmg on the flash drive formatted GUID (the "Options") and Mac OS coffee (HFS +)
6. Copy the folder OS X Install ESD / Packages folder on the flash drive in the / System / Installation / replacing the file alias Packages.
6. Copy to the root of the stick and BaseSystem.dmg Basesystem.chunklist of Install ESD
If you do not - get an error Undefined error: 0 at the very beginning of the installation!
7. Backup
8. Reboot while holding down Alt. Choosing our stick. If necessary, after Disk Utility to erase partitions. We put the system.
9. Now you can install macOS Sierra on your Macs.

We know that every year Apple announced their products on June, but official release date - September. Why? I think that general reason of such situation - Apple want to release their OS X without bags and errors. Ok. Now you can try new MacOS Sierra features on your Mac.

    1. These guys pretend to speak broke English, its part of their M.O. and it is also very annoying. Recommend to use their link for downloading and google up another guide easier to understand and with pics or second best find a video on Youtube.com

  6. I'm stuck from fifth step. I found BaseSystem.dmg file but I don't know how to expand BaseSystem.dmg using Disk Utility.
    Can anyone help me ?

    1. Restore the OS X Base System volume to your blank USB in Disk Utility. Then you can give that partition more space on the USB after it has restored.

  10. There's actually an easier way, since Apple added the createinstallmedia application to the Installer.app in Mavericks.

    Does this mean copying files from BaseSystem to the flash drive that is formatted in GUID and HFS+ ?

  20. Has anyone been able to install it ?. I already did all the steps above but when I reboot the system and select the usb drive. it doesn't show the screen of macOS Sierra, it all shows a windows to reinstall the OS X system...

Hi there, so I restore the base system disk image onto my USB in disk utility, copy the packages folder from the installesd disk image to the system folder in the USB, copy the basesystem chucklist to the top level of the USB and I just have to boot into the USB to install macOS Sierra, correct? Because it seems like I'm missing something in between...

  33. I get the circle with a slash while trying to boot. I copied the packages folder from InstallESD to the install drive in /System/Installation. I also copied the BaseSystem.dmg file and BaseSystem.chunklist file to the root of the install drive. Install drive is formatted Mac OS Extended with GUID partition style.

    Just upgraded my 10.11.6 El Capitan and now mySierra is only booting in safe mode. In Regular mode have an error and stuck at the end of the progress line boot at Apple screen.
    Any Idea ???
